On the way back from Madrid airport I get news that the Sundowners (Nigel and Pam) are visiting...

We meet up on the road and go to QMJ...

Super driver Nigel has no trouble :)Wink: :winky: :winky:) getting through the twin trees...

...actually, being hard core motorhomers they had the necessary blocks to level the van so it didn't tip up too much as it eased through...

It is great to have them visit... :thumb:

Spent a lovely day in JJ's little paradise here in Portugal and spoke to some locals to find bread and water.

As you can see it was a bit tight getting in, getting out is another matter, might become permanent residents, Oh! what a shame:thumb::thumb:.

Spending a few days here in the lovely sunshine before continuing our circumnavigation of Portugal.

It's a hard life, but can't be blamed for wildcamping at Alvor (never even visited there - not our 'cup of tea').

I thought we were losing the Sundowners today but brilliant news... they are staying longer than planned (until Saturday)... :thumb:

Given the amazing amount of work that Nigel and Pam have done on the land in the last few days this is very good news for me!

The bases of the trees at the entrance had been cut back and the level of the track going through them has been levelled out with buckets and buckets of stone and the sit foreman even used a spirit level!

So when the vans now go through the entrance they do not tip over sideways and touch their sidewalls on the trunks...

Top stuff...
