After a bit of planing, the time had arrived we left home at 7am and after 320 miles arrived at Canterbury about 4pm ready for the next morning, but a quick call to DFDS they managed to get us on the 6pm ferry on Saturday Night.
Arrived at Dunkerque and pulled into the lorry Park and had a good nights sleep. At 8am we set of to drive South hitting the peripheriqe Paris about 11am it was manic but Ed managed to keep a cool head and we popped out the other side ok.
Pulled on to a aire caught our breath and carried on doing 357 miles that day pulled on to a nice aire at St Pourcain sur sioule, right on a river, a good nights stop over.
Next morning kept driving South through some beautiful scenery Clement Ferand and over Milau Bridge, still some snow lingering on the sides of the roads, but the sun was shining and we made good time.
Managed to get 329 miles in that day, this is the only part of our 4 months away that we will cover these miles daily but want to get to Marjal for Thursday.
As long as the van keeps rolling along like it is we should be ok.
