How to change profile picture?? (1 Viewer)

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'm sure if i'll be told if not.
I'm trying to change my profile picture.
Have tried uploading the new picture - have made sure it is ok size wise and it is - 120 x 90 pixels 6,69kb but whenever i try to upload it it says "upload of file failed".
I removed my previous profile picture so when I log in to edit my profile it says "No profile picture specified" but the previous profile picture is displayed on any posts I make.
I have tried logging out and then logging back in again but still the same.
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? :helpsos::helpsos:

Not sure but was the pics size about 80 x80 ? that could be your problem

what size should profile pictures be?
The previous picture i put up was not resized or anything, just straight off my camera. I deliberatly resized this as read somewhere on the forum about uploading photos that were too big.
I can't figure out why my old profile picture is still coming up even though I have removed it?

max picture size is 120 x 120 or 97.7kb

did you tick the 'delete current pic' box ?

are you uploading from your computer files or a website image ?

image is 120 pixels x 90 pixels - uploaded from my computer.
yes i did tick remove previous picture which is why I'm amazed it keeps coming up on my posts when it doesn't show in my profile details.

that could be because that is your avatar..not your profile pic.

your profile pic isnt shown in a post.

Yes you were right - blonde moment (even though I'm brunnette) I was changing my profile picture when I wanted to change my Avitar.
Just tried to upload my new Avitar picture thinking all would be solved but am still getting the message "upload failed" so it would seem something wrong with photo.
I'm going to try another one to see if I have any more luck with that!!
