7 Years after 5 years with caravan.
It's about now that Grenville and Shirley discover that there's not enough hours in a day, or days in the year, to do everything they want to do.::bigsmile:

Congratulations, not so much a change of name, more a change of life.

Anyway how come ShiftZZ retired at 50, I had to struggle on 'til I was 56? :ROFLMAO:

Huh! I struggled on till I was 59 and even then I had to be made redundant. What a good day that was!

Sorry to all those who are younger that have been devastated by redundancy.

So now.... this gets me to think you are going to have plenty of time to travel....... You might even think about doing France one sunny day..... And .....I can't possibly go on without meeting you 2, can I ?

So then, which dates will be best for you and your wife?

I'll put them in my diary!!:winky:::bigsmile:::bigsmile:

Thank you all for your good wishes. :thanks2::thanks2::beer:

In all honesty I have to admit that I have done almost no work for the last two years (hence the nearlyretired bit) so it won't be much of a culture shock.

Frankie,

We'd love to give you some dates but our plans have to be necessarily fluid as Shirley is waiting for a court date (compo - accident at work years ago) however our plan (such as it is) is that we hope to be in France June to mid July  and again mid August to late September  (missing the worst of the official summer holidays). Hopefully we will be able to stay with you and try some dates on you when we know more, and you can tell us how many FB pies to bring with us as JJ will have you addicted to them by then.
We have actually met, one of the rallies where you were staying in a tent.

Grenville, Shirley and Meg (the good looking one)
