Stockton White Water Course. Free parking all day, on the banks of the River Tees, adjacent to the Tees Barrage and white water canoeing / rafting course. Hotel and pub handy, 1.5 miles riverside walk to Stockton centre. Teesside Park 1 mile, with shops, restaurants, multi-screen cinema and bowling alley. stayed one night on this site
had a problem with young drivers at about 0130 tried to get in to belly lockers

has been a good stopover but now getting unwanted attention by young thugs

just be warned

shame some people will not leave others alone

Its a shame you had problems Motorhomelover cos its a great place. We stayed on the CC site there in November and had a great time, no trouble. Like you say, its a fantastic spot. We cycled into Middlesborough down the river and its lovely. They have secure cycle parking at the bus station in the town centre. You can leave your bike there for free. Great idea.

I would have thought there would have been stories in the Gazette or local radio/TV if there were a regular problem.

We too have stayed at the CC site, no problems experienced at all, and a good location.

I would have thought that if "that site is always getting hit by vandals and burglars" then the co-ordinates you supply which are very close by to the CC site, would also be targeted by same "vandals and burglars" of Stockton on Tees.

Maybe they disturbed you as you were easy pickings in the car park.
