The Motorhome Show – Stratford-Upon-Avon.
22nd-24th June 2012

Link Removed

In its 25th year The Motorhome Show at Stratford Racecourse is still a favourite with showgoers from all over the country.

The all new Stratford show is creating a buzz with trade and public alike. Everyone is looking forward to the revamped show, being held for the 25th year at the Racecourse Stratford-Upon-Avon from 22nd – 24th June. The exhibition will now be centred around the Grandstand area, making the most of the plush facilities on offer. There’ll be 2 nights of free entertainment in the Stratford Big Top, fun craft competitions in the Grandstand bar. And why not show off your prized parrot, pampered pooch, cute kittie or lovely lizard at the “Best Pet Competition” in the Parade Ring on Sunday afternoon. You could win £25! It’s the perfect place to view and buy the latest Motorhomes as well as pre-loved models, plus the latest innovations in the accessory market, clothing, gadgets and gizmos all in the beautiful setting of Shakespeare country.
Owners and first timers will be coming from all over the country to enjoy the three day show. Although the show doesn’t open until Friday, hundreds of enthusiasts will be arriving from Monday 18th June, making the most of all that there is on offer in the area. Why not hire a bike and explore the Stratford Greenway. You can start and finish your cycle from the cycle hire centre beside the track. You can rest, relax and enjoy refreshments at the Carriages Cafe at the start or end of the ride and survey the thousands of Motorhomes at the show. Why not live dangerously and try a tandem! Or if you prefer to stretch your legs, Stratford’s historic town centre is within walking distance via the charming riverside pathway that runs past the Racecourse. If your legs could do with a rest, from Friday there are shuttle buses running to and from the town centre, as well as mystery coach trips around the surrounding countryside. But as always, the stars of the show are the Motorhomes themselves!

Always a good social event, we will put up the marquee for funsters entertainment. ::bigsmile:
You can walk into town along the river, we always enjoy this meet.:thumb:

You can camp all week on the race course, so you get to meet other funsters and know them quite well by the time you go home.:winky::ROFLMAO:

With your fun discount.
Camping from Monday £53
Camping from Tuesday £48
Camping from Wednesday £43
Camping from Thursday £38

My favourite show rally of the year. The actual show is rubbish but the Fun rally is always great fun:thumb: The show is on for two days, the rally is on for seven.

this was our second meet with mhf last year and we had a great time the show was small but we walked into stratford to have a look around and i walked back in at 5:30 in the morning to take photos

we have been going to peterborough and the malvern shows for about 6 years on our own but last year at the malvern show we were with mhf and had the best time we have had at this show i still walked up to the top of the hills as i do each year to take photos

Rita and I went to Stratford for the first time last year, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, but have to agree, as a Motorhome Show, it was sh#te.
It looks like we will be going again this year, but just not sure of the exact dates yet, as it falls on my duty week.

We'll come back and append our names on the list, as soon as we know for sure.

Cheers for now,

Jock & Rita.

Hi. It was my first time at the event last year and although it was a small show it was a great rally in a nice location. I treat these events more as a rally venue than go for the show.

Unfortunately with it being later in the month this year I will not be able to make it as I am booked to be in Gozo.

All the best for the event. :thumb:

To my mind Stratford is best treated as a great value for money rally with a small show thrown in rather than vice versa. We thoroughly enjoyed it last year - and even 3 years ago when it poured down for part of it.

Bob and Jane.

I do NOT like the look of that form, I know it appears to be secure but it's giving full CC details in an email which just might go missing.

What is DEALER ? If that is supposed to CC company it makes me even more worried.

I'll try phoning to book.

PS.....

Booked with FUN on 0115 946 1146. I feel happier doing it that way.

It was a brilliant rally last year but it starts at the end of the Kelmarsh Mid Summer Great Escape and we have to rush from that down to Kent on the Monday and will not be finished there until the 22nd by the looks of things so will not be there this year - dont know what has happened this year but quite a few rallies appear to clash in some way  Maybe things have had to me moved because of Olympics and Jubilee things
