Hi dont know if this has already been posted but thought it might be of interest to some council have voted to allow campervans to stay overnight in Hawick

Well it might have rook nearly a year but good news in the end we also have one on the outskirts of Dumfries in small village of Glencaple on a lovely spot.

Perhaps an e-mail from Jim thanking them, for their kind efforts on behalf of all members
would be appropriate and appreciated by the council members who supported this.

Hawick is now on my list of places to visit, on my next visit north to Scotland, and Im
sure many of you feel the same.

Ok then, why are you lot not interested in this thread. I understand that not everyone wants this facility, but in a country that seems to be anti motorhome when it comes to parking off a campsites it seems a step in the right direction to me Come on give it the response it deserves:thumb:
