I wish you luck Graham but I think your list is a wee bit ambitious especially at 21ft ish and 3.5te max.

Ours is 6.9 mtrs 23ft ish? but it would not match your criteria especially the Has/leccie mix you want.

And somewhere comfortable to sit and lounge ?

I'll believe it when I see it, probably with the Tardis brand on it.

Graham my nutter friend, DO NOT write off France it is a motorhomers dream.
Steph was terrified when Alan (Laneside) forced us over for the first time, within two days she was in heaven.
Bear in mind we don't do many towns but we never once felt vulnerable.
We have always been treated with the utmost respect and friendliness by the French. :thumb:

The Rotec states 2008, but it has the pre 2007 Base Cab.
Also 54,000 miles sounds very high for a 2008, has it been re-registered?

you may not get your full wish list from a dealer as van specs are normally set

only way is to build one to your spec or its a compromise on many things
good luck with your search

we got an RV to match our wish list but came in a 4.5ton rig
far more comfortable than any euro van and all for less than £30K
being left hand drive its great for euro travel :thumb:
we do not find any difficulty in driving here with a left hooker you just get used to it :thumb:

Well - re hob - gas/elec are available - our full cooker is a 'Stoves' brand with one elec and 3 gas rings and I therefore suppose you could always have a new hob wired in, if the existing spec of a van you otherwise liked didn't have both?

I mean our power sockets, the cooker and the fridge are all on the same wall with the EHU socket on the opposite side wall, so the wiring 'path' is obviously already there, 'somewhere' - so wouldn't have thought it would take a qualified bloke all that much difficulty to do it?

You know that Burstner? Has it got rear seatbelts? and on the pic showing the long settee, looking towards the cab, what's that bit of cut-out floor? - not seen one like that so can't make out what's going on there really.

And - not being picky Graham, honest - and of course I have no idea what state the interior of your existing van was/is in - does the upholstery on either of them look a bit dingy in real life and do the fixed beds only look a bit saggy, but aren't really?

Does seem to be a high mileage. We actually saw that van at the Lincoln Show in September and were surprised it hadn't sold. Perhaps the high mileage is the reason.

Yes, it has two belts on the dinette seat.
The "cut-out" is a step, the dinette seat is higher.
The upholstery is better in real life than the photos - Jill actually made a comment on that.

No doubt we probably will have to compromise on the "essentials" but it's early days and we are quite prepared for the fact that we may have to do so. Having said that, I am led to believe that there should be a cheque for £30million coming to us after tonight so we may be able to have whatever we bloomin' well like :ROFLMAO:
