I am still learning all about the life and workings of a M/H ,
If i use a mains hook up, does this charge just the liesure battery or the main battery under the bonnet as well?

When i am driving, will both batteries get charged up?

While you are driving both cab & leisure batteries are being charged.
When you are on EHU just the leisure battery is being charged UNLESS you press the battery select button on the control panel to Van Battery, then it's the van battery being charged.

Depending on age of the van.. I dont think earlier models have this facility, so depends on what year the OP van is... I know my 2005 Autotrail doesnt have it so much be later models.

Mines a ducato 1997 autotrail, it has a rocker switch, one way main, other way liesure.

Looks like you have one then..!!
As already mentioned, when driving the alternator wil charge both.
On hook up select the battery via the switch you want to charge... :thumb:
