I am about to get a sat nav for my M/H and was wondering if anyone might know of a certain type that can displayl where the large car parks might be in town areas without over head restictions ect?
If i am planning to stop in a lay by or camp park that should be fine but when hunting for a park in a town ---one wrong turn and too late!

Car parks are normally shown up by being on a PoI set either built in by the manufacturer or provided by a third party.

You can download my set for free from Here. The download includes several different formats for different devices but note that the device must allow addition of PoI sets and not all do.

Thanks for that link,I have downloaded all the files and saved them to a SD card.
I put the card in my Garmin Zumo 550 and i cannot find the results.
I have looked under imported/custom POI and been through every setting i can see, but it does not seem to work.
I can see what sites should be there as i have viewed a file sent, on the pc with office word, none of them appear on my GPS.
Any idea how i can make it work?
Thanks,
Joner

For my Garmin Nuvi I use Link Removed, which is a free download.

A bit more complicated than TomTom, which allows drag & drop within Windows Explorer, but it works OK.
