Trying to locate a seatbelt stalk for my hymer. It's a 1993 Ducatto. Fiats no longer make this so looks like i've got to locate a 2nd hand one from somehere.
Any Ideas?

there will be loads of them in van breakers up and down the country.
however they think they have you over a barrel being an MOT item in the fact that you require it to comply with the law and as such they think they can charge what they want so be vigilant.

No that's not it - it's about 42cm in length and looks like this one

my son says they all fit each other so this should be ok but i'm not so sure?

The one that's on there is working and will pass the MOT test but the casing is cracked and taped up. We have just sold the van and wanted to replace it before it went.

You are right to be not so sure, 3 or 4 internal mechanisms exist for the same external appearance, buckle blade width and depth as well as the blades location hole, position and shape often differ

Thanks for that. I had actually seen that on ebay but the casing on my stalk does not look the same as in it is not grooved and my stalk is only 40cm long. Aparently it will pass an MOT as it is so may well leave it alone!
