Couldn't get the Trumatic S3002 to light last week-end, so I've just taken cover off to have a look and give it its annual dust down.

Found that one of the wires going into the back of the Automatic ignition device & battery compartment (see photo) has come loose & there are three options to where it goes (I've marked A,B or C), begining to sound like a quiz now innit:roflmto: and as I'm not happy about messing about with gas & sparks I thought that some of the many educated funsters out there would tell me where to put it :ROFLMAO:

Can't remember ;)
:ROFLMAO: An uneducated guess but try A ::bigsmile: if it was B or C it would be a lot shorter. At best it will light :thumb: worst it won't :winky:

Look very closely at the push on tabs, those connectors will leave a mark.

Already done that thanks Brian, but can't see any obvious signs

That's hard luck, they often leave deep scars.

Is it a "high voltage" wire ? Good thick insulation ? Because A shows a sparky looking symbol. I get the feeling B+C is a paired circuit so needing two wires.

I`m a newbie
It looks like the system we had on our other boat, I reckon it is A mate, 99% certain. I am sure we never had anything on B&C terminals.
But I could be wrong.:winky: Just as a disclaimer:ROFLMAO:

Don't know about it being 'high voltage' but when I attempt to connect it to 'A' with battery in place, it does spark and gives enough of a shock for me to let go !! :Eeek:

Sorted.
Answer, remove battery, connect offending wire to 'A' terminal, replace battery, ignite, fire lights :thumb::thumb:
Now just got to spend hours putting cover back on:ROFLMAO:
