According to inside Media Discover went down to the tune of a cool £35 mil' Creditors will be getting at least £220,000 less than they should because of the KPMG charges to administer the bankruptcy. Firms like that love a recession:Angry:

the law should be changed so that directors can not hide behind the ltd liability
if they trade out side the rules they should be held accountable
its not fair they continue to take orders knowing its all going tits up

in the 30 yrs we had the garage business we must have had at least half a dozen firms go bust on us [we where always care .full but someone always slips through the net]most for only small amounts.
when we got the statement from the insolvency practioners their fees always came first then the banks etc never anything left for the small guys but thats the way life is sometimes.
i don't know how they manage to borrow so much money every time we tried to borrow a couple of grand we had a major enquirey examine the books charge on property etc looking back though they probably did us a favour not lending us any money we always managed in the end:winky:
