It has just been reported that a pod of killer whales has been spotted by a cliff walker near Newquay and that they were heading towards Padstow ,It has also been reported that Rick Stein has been seen purchasing a very very large frying pan in the local kitchenwares dept of debenhams

Newquay first time sea fishing 1967 holiday

'ere you lot! You leave my bait fish alone! I use them there tiddlers to catch my real fish!

Danged Furriners!!!

I went fishing on a little boat out from Newquay way back in 1967 with an old skipper called Percy he was the epitome of an old salt, I was with four of my friends and we had started catching mackerel when one fish got stuck on the hook and my mate could not get it off PERCY JUST GAVE IT A WHACK AGAINST A BIN AND OF COURSE IT FLEW OFF THE HOOK
all the innards landed on my mates :Eeek::Eeek:needless to say that was the end of the days fishing as sudden sea sickness appeared :shout::shout:boy that was the end of a traumatic first trip:Smile:
