The LNB just converts the signal bounced onto it from the dish.

It can have single, double, or quad outputs depending what you want to supply. Eg Sky+ boxes have two inputs so you can watch one channel and record another, so you need at least a dual LNB.

The LNB either works or does not work depending on signal, the bigger the dish the stronger the signal it will receive.

So for Spain, if you are wanting to watch, Sky or UK Freeview, the dish is the more important factor.:thumb:

Look for the words "High Gain" and/or "Low Noise". Of course "they" may all claim "high gain" but if any numbers are given you want highest gain and lowest noise.

Most LNBs are 0.2 rated and work OK.
An LNB will work in any country - they are not really countyr specific. The critical factor is dish size...

Some LNBs do tend to be slightly better than others - Inverto Ultra Black for example.

So for Spain, if you are wanting to watch, Sky or UK Freeview, the dish is the more important factor.:thumb:

You will not get UK Freeview in Spain.
And you certainly will not get UK Freeview via satellite dish.
UK Freeview is only in the UK via a TV aerial.

You'd have a hard job picking up UK Freeview with a satellite dish! - I think you mean UK Freesat.

Furthermore, we really need to know what sort of dish you have? Offset type or primefocus and is your present LNB a "universal" and how many outlets?
