Hi All,
can anyone out there please clarify exactly where to find out whether one's camper is euro 3 / 4 / 5 spec? I've only recently realised that this is going to become a really significant issue in the next year or two, even for fairly modern vans (ours is an 06 spec Peugeot Boxer 2.2d).
Any help much appreciated - good campervanning, Frogeye

Your right in the year of change of engine spec changes, late 2006 saw generation 3 engines fitted
I suggest you are
Euro 4 introduced in(2005) for any vehicle
Euro 5 started 2008/9)
Euro 6 starts (2014) for light passenger and commercial vehicles

You could try the TFL emissions zone site. You type your reg in and it tells you if they'll let you into London.

These are the rule that allow you "INTO" London.

When they start charging me to travel outside of major cities I will start worrying :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It is worth knowing these details to be honest and thanks for bringing it up as quite a few of us non City dwellers wouldn't notice nutty things like this....

They are not always accurate with their info if you just type in your reg. no. They had mine listed as 5000kg when it is in fact 3500kg.!
Do it the long way round by typing in vehicle description, year etc.

I sent off a photocopy of the V5 and a photo of the weight plate from the m/home and I got a reply today. It is now confirmed as Euro3 and is compliant with the LEZ until 31/12/2018, so a result!

Who wants to visit London anyway?!!!

It's a cesspool of everything which is wrong with the UK!!!!!!!!! Greed, crime, selfishness, materialism, inflated prices, the list goes on! Lived there once, never again!

Show me our countryside instead , much nicer!

In my opinion, anything which puts people off visiting London has to be a good thing!! Well done Boris!!!:roflmto:

Digging a trench now in preparation for Cockney incoming!!!:roflmto:
