i have 1 gaslow bottle fitted purely because i couldn't afford 2 at the time.
although only having 1 fitted in a 2 bottle locker has advantages.
if you happen to run out and there is no filling stations near by you can always fit a standard calor bottle or what ever bottle happens to be the local type.

it wont pay for itself very quickly but you can swap it to another van if you change.

the last time i filled my 11kg gaslow it cost around £14.00 as apposed to around £20.00 for a 6kg calor which is just over half the amount of gas.

Spain is bad for Gaslow, not many filling places. Otherwise a great system.
as Brian said..not too many filling stations in Spain, but they are slowly becoming more popular.

the trick is to fill when you can, even if its only a few pounds/euro's...not when you need to, as sods law states you wont find anywhere to fill when you have to.

if you go the gaslow route then have the fixed filling kit fitted as more and more UK filling stations are getting twitchy about filling loose bottles.

if you have the fixed filler kit then no problems as its just the same as filling an LPG powered car.

Cost a fortune to buy, but we love the freedom afforded by our 11kg sysytem. It might pay for itself one day with autogas being cheaper than an exchange Calor bottle.::bigsmile:
Have not yet filled it abroad, despite the fact we have adapters for everywhere!
We leave for a 2 week break abroad with a full bottle and still have some left on the way home due to our diesel heating!
Besides, a 13kg calor wouldn't fit in our locker!
