 Just a quick update, i rang Bournmouth Seafront Services today to
find out about the overnight parking, as mentioned here a while ago.

Unfortuantly despite spending on advertising, the planners have got a problem with it, so for this year?? at least it has been cancelled:cry:

As our local beach i was intending to use this for night sea fishing trips
through the winter, but hay ho still maybe next year i doubt!!.

I'm sure some signage along that road only restricts during the summer period not all year. But I could be wrong.

No change to normal parking, but this was something new that was being rolled out from Sept on for the winter season. £20 to park overnight from 6pm - 11am no ones house overlooks the undercliff area only night life is people walking between Bournmouth & Boscombe

Don't think we are missing much at 20 quid a night. :whatthe:

So who would be prepared to pay that much to park for one night?

Maybe that's the problem they have come across, nobody will turn up.

Could have hit the nail on the head there,
But i know of several people who would have paid it, problem is down this part the council have put height bars on most of the car parks that the beach fishers use, and this would have been an easy access area for night fishing. As said before daytime parking is no problem.

I have short arms and deep pockets, and love wild camping, but sometimes you have to be willing to pay a bit more to do the things you like:thumb:
