I've been a member here for a while, but hiding under a blanket.

I've decided to 'come out' now. I'm Gerald, and she's Annie, and the dog's Tess, and we probably know some of you from elsewhere :Eeek:

Ha! Very droll!

Thanks for the welcomes, guys. Sorry I've been masquerading under another name, but when I joined, I think I might have been a little ... errr ... unwelcome, shall we say? All water under the wotsit now :ROFLMAO:

Of course you can be nosey :thumb:

It is a screen door. It came with the van (as did the last one). It folds back on itself in half (if you see what I mean  ) and locks into place on the habitation door. I've seen the same thing on some Hymers, too, so it must be a proprietary thing, maybe available from O'Leary's over here?

Coming out of hell more like.

A feat on a par with those brave fighters in Libya but without UN help.

Rest now, recover, then enjoy your new found freedom.

Welcome

Are you trying to escape from some of the mindnumbingly stupid questions with similar answers, or the extreme trivia that is more and more common in "another place."

These are not actual questions but are on a par with some seen.

"What's in the tomato salad? How is the fried cod cooked? Or when a person posts a question seeking advice on an item, the answer, "Oh I would not touch one with a bargepole, certainly would not buy one, they are rubbish" Usually from someone who has never owned such an item or used it.:roflmto:

Welcome on board.........

Beware, people like Pusser are over here as well with an unsinkable sense of humour - no escape from that and quite a few others with hours of endless (senseless?) fun from everyone. Nice place!:thumb:

That's interesting. I'm not aware of ever starting a "tirade of abuse". That's just not my style, and it's usually against the rules of the forum.

On paying subscriptions, it's always a simple choice - if you think the subs are good value, pay them. If you don't think they're good value, don't pay them.

Hope your not the same on here as this is a friendly forum.
Is it? I hope it is.

Gerald
