Pizza on a Cadac ? (1 Viewer)

anyone tried cooking a shop bought pizza on a cadac ?

got the various plates and a pan stand so was thinking put the griddle on first then put the pizza on the pan stand to keep it off direct heat, then put the lid on to act as an oven.

any comments before i burn it

Go for it John! It works well. We used to do it when we had a Cadac. I put the pizza on bacofoil before putting it on the pan stand! :thumb::thumb:

We still BBQ pizza but we have a Weber now - same principal though!

Do it the proper way man!

Put it on the end of a shovel, and chuck it on the fire! The sicilians cook many things this way, Pizza, Carbonara....loads more! Working mans lunch.:thumb:

(If you don't carry a shovel on your motorhome...like many of us do tend to carry for the odd spot of lay-by gardening - try an old baking sheet, chuck it on top and pop the lid down - all will be well with the world...once you have thrown on some more cheese and a good dousing of oregano anyway!)
