Heating switch - 750 ELC 2004 (1 Viewer)

I have just got a 750 ELC 2004 and there is a mains switch on the outside of the nearside wardrobe that looks like the heating switch but I can't understand how it works. The switch by the entrance door is a combination hot water/heating switch which can be used in different positions - I found out in the manual but I can't find out about this other switch.
Anone got any ideas please?
