Arrived. Delighted.

I got the £129 one with DVD.

The picture is astounding. Sharp, bright, very bright. DVD played a region 1, as it said it would.

Now to fit it to MH.

Thanks lunarman.

just one question; the 12volt cable looks to terminate in a standard cigarette lighter plug. Is it easy/possible to either buy, or convert to, a 2-pin 12volt plug?

It's an extra that I did not buy. I'm guessing that they could not build a 40W regulator into the plug.

Found the answer to my own question. you can get an adaptor for £4.85, just found one on the two-sure website.

David

Disclaimer: other suppliers are also available, probably ::bigsmile:

So far so good. It's now running on the leisure battery direct on charge at 13.6V. Although the power supply is rated 40W the ammeter hardly moves when I turn it on.

Good digital tuner, it's showing 91% and I haven't even positioned the aerial properly.

Further test. Because it's permanently plugged in I thought I better measure the current.

Standby current 15mA
Running current 1.4 to 1.7A

Little difference between TV mode and DVD running.

That'll do nicely.

WE GOT A FULL HD 22" with dvd from marks and spencer for £219 and 2 years guarantee, works on EHU and 12V.
Didnt realise it worked on 12V but it has a transformer with it which said 12V doesnt mention it on the website but have tried it and it works so we have Tv at the malvern show, not that we watch it much while we are at shows too busy with the entertainment.:thumb:
