Till now my vehicle has enjoyed being plugged in all year round so draining water off has never been necessary.

Right now what needs doing?

The waste tanks are nearly empty.

The water tank is down as far as the pump will drain off.

Now the boiler where is the drain on this?

John,
the drain is usually a white plastic or brass nut (@ 22mm o/d) situated at the bottom of the boiler, unscrew it and also release the pressure on the blow off valve (this is a brass item with a lift up flap on the end) water will then drain out of the boiler at a decent rate. Have a drive in the vehicle to allow the rest of the water in the pipes to drain out of the boiler, turn the pump back on and open all the taps to make sure the water in the pipes is also drained.

I got the spring type lever at the top so I open that air valve?

Right I have a rusty nut at the bottom about 1 inch across (he we go comedians :roflmto:) which looks as though its never been undone so is this what needs unscrewing?

Bit cautious as seems rusted in:Doh:

This is all from memory but going to her tomorrow hopefully.

With all the holding tanks low is this OK?

Hi John,

Serious head on now.:ROFLMAO:

If it looks seriously rusted then I'd cover it in releasing fluid and soak it overnight to help prevent any possibility of it shearing off.

WD40 or similar.

Please be careful. If it wont budge using REASONABLE force try a sharp tap, end on, to release it.

Oh and use a socket/ring spanner rather than an open ended spanner.

Best of luck Mate.

 There may be some drain cocks on the Fresh water tanks that allow ALL the water to be drained off. Our pipes froze up 2 years ago on the way to Amarillo. One of them was a drain off pipe that cracked just before the drain cock.
