Hello folks, I am new to this so please forgive errors.
I have a Fiat Ducato 630 Suntor and have a Fiamma awning with privacy room. This is expensive kit, but the van door is at the front and catches on the canopy arm which stops door from shutting. I have to ram one side of the awning up with a make-shift pole so that I can open the door. Then the privacy room is wonky. Anyone else encountered this or have any suggestions.

I have the built in wind out Omnistore awning on my Autotrail
and I have to make the right angle or the door will clip the canopy arm.
This means the awning angle is fairly shallow but it seems to work ok
So what angle do you have to get to clear the canopy arm ?
And my support legs have height to spare.

I need 90 degrees at door end of van. Legs have the height but I still need to jam up the roof arm with a separate pole to tuck it away from door so that it will open. This throws the privacy room way off straight, pulls it away from the van where the buffers are, and it stresses the arm and sometimes it will nor retract back after use. Very worrying, hense looking for something else
