Hi Douzeper
I had an Eldis on the 208d and prone to rusting front intake vents and less noticable in engine compartment at back at bottom so needs checking.
The inlet vent easy to see but other not so.

Hope this is helpfull

Son has a p reg one... Out of all the motorhomes in the family and our immediate group of friends, that van is head and shoulders above the rest with its quality and equipment

Sorry do you mean the Mercedes side of it, or the fact that it's a Compass Drifter?

Both !
The actual conversion is fantastic ( apart from one or two oddball issues that are related to it being a UK van.. bits I personally dislike )

And it has just sailed through yet another MOT .. Apart from basic servicing the motor has never had any other work done to it !

Thanks for that, curious now what the oddball issues are:)

I am watching one of them on the net so it's now on my "must view" list.

The oddball stuff is more related to me than the van.. Such as the habitat 12v system turns off if you start the van .. soon sorted out for number one son but an oddity ( of vans converted in the UK in the 90's at least ! )
Cannot bring to mind the other thing but again, minor, and something that was modified to suit so not exactly a deal breaker no matter what it was !
