~From Poznan to Warsaw~ (1 Viewer)

As part of our European tour in a couple of weeks we will be heading to Poland. We've looked at the various blogs and websites on camping in Poland but there doesn't seem to be an awful lot of campsites between Berlin and Warsaw, driving via Poznan. Poznan would be an ideal stopover but one of the websites said the campsite there was a definite NO NO and he gave it the ultimate thumbs down :thumbdown:

Has anyone got any recommendations for stopovers around the Poznan area as we'd rather not drive from the German border straight to Warsaw all in one trip. :thanks2:

Stayed at a campsite on the outskirts of Poznan last August and had no problems at all.

I can't remember the name but it is next to the water sports lake and close to where they are building a new stadium for the Euro Football Championships.
