Years ago there used to be a product called vapona strips. You left them in a room and all the flying insects died within about half an hour. We used to use them in our motorhome and they did a great job.

When they disappeared I did some research and found out that they were off the market because of a cancer risk. Since then nothing really seems to work.

It's the same when we are outside having a bbq. They love citronella.

I would love to know if anybody has any real good tips that actually work.

Easy Peasy !!

A rolled up piece of newspaper, and a strong right or left arm depending on whether you are a southpaw or not !
If no newspaper to hand, then a soda siphon works admirably ! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

nowhere near long enough
Before retiring we ran an equestrian supply store and had dozens and dozens of repelants for both humans and horses and being a fisherman I have tried them all.

The bad news is if they nearly worked the labour government banned them and any that are still available are pretty useless.

Some will say XYZ works for them but that is only the case when the midges etc. do not like those particular people or have moved elsewhere

A persons diet possibly has more effect than any external applied stuff
