I seem to having continual problems with the famma door safe locking, IE the key is difficult to insert and difficult to remove, I have just bought a new unit to replace one that had sized up completely and the new unit is no better that the one I have removed.

Do you have problems?

If its what I have fitted then no...I have always found this type of lock a little awkward..you just have to do the job slowly..

mine is also a fiamma but a different lock...same barrel.

can be a bugger to get the key in/out but a little graphite seems to keep it free.

Was having trouble with mine (as you describe), even after trying to free it up it seemed to be really difficult to move the key to the point I thought it was knackered. Asked the dealer to take a look as it was coming up to a year old, and they have freed it up and it is working a treat now.
