hi all

is it safe/feasible to leave a van on hook-up unattended? Whether for 5mins or 5hrs? And what about at night-time? Not paranoid or anything, just could do with the etiquette..

thanks in advance...

Hi
It is the norm to leave connected the hook up cable for the duration of the stay, be it just one night or a fortnight
You should be able to treat your motor home much the same way as your bricks and mortar residence, however,
Due to the nature of the beast especially if it's a new to you Motor home
have the gas and electric equipment safety tested inc ventilation and performance of MCB trips etc
Your house gas and electrical equipment is not subject to vibration and off road use, Your vans equipment is:thumb:
It would be nice to pass away in ones sleep but not till we are ready:RollEyes:

as pothers have said....perfectly acceptable but i'd advise turning off the water pump while away for an extended time.

last thing you need is 100 ltrs of H2o sloshing about on the van if you spring a leak. :Eeek:
