This lot has all the hall marks of a previous scam. So think before bidding if it follows previous scams the MH will be in Spain, probably Barcelona and will be shipped to Uk for £700. Previous story of how UK MH is in Spain is because of a split between boyfriend'partner and the van cannot be sold in Spain because it is RH drive.
They will offer to ship the MH to UK with a reputable shipping company. As soon as the payment is made your money disappears and the MH never appears.
If this is as I suspect a scam then there is the possibility of you losing money. Think very carefully before bidding.

Now if I click on the link in Normanandsue's post it comes up as a "phishing site" on my browser.
Also if you click the e-bay store nothing happens.

If it sounds to good............ you know the rest....:Eeek:

Cannnot swear 100% to this but I've had my house for sale by owner for a few months and this name rings a bell.

There was a scam here--guy wants to bring "client" to see house. Client will pay €3000 for the expenses of trip --and guy wants to make it payable to owner (why??) I told the person to go where the sun don't shine but 2 people in this area fell for it (received travellers cheques which they cashed and sent cash to addresses in Spain--again why?????) & consequently were visited by gendarmes as cheques were fakes.

The name mentioned here looks familiar to me after a similar enquiry re the house.

Thanks Karl,
OPbviously they read our Funsters site and have moved their listing within eBay the new link is
http://cgi.ebay.jlwd.co.uk/together/...AN.htm?hash=25
Have tried it at the time of issuing this thread and it links but may be they will see it and move their listing again.
We must keep listing these scams to avoid genuine MHers from being scammed. Keep watching and listing

That bloke is amazing !!
If he spent half as much effort on actually working as he does on making up fictitious backgrounds for him self he probably would be quite wealthy and respected !!

However.. methinks all these links are a tad misleading.. The real guy is a professor in China.. well respected and it would seem quite sick and tired of the antics this ghostly fake has been up to for quite some time !

This link has now been disconnected, though he did reply to me e mail. I informed him I had alerted the Spanish police and the UK authoprites about his scam but look out he will re surface again and will rip you off. Don't reply to his e bay offer.

If you go to the domain itself there is a chair shop under construction.
It is possible that the guy who owns the domain is innocent and that his hosting account has been hacked.

the cgi. bit is not important John.

Just in case anyone here isn't aware.
A domain name can either have 2 or 3 parts. For international domains this is only 2. These are Called TLD's.
domain.com
domain.net
domain.info etc etc etc

For regional domains it can and generally does have 3 parts. These are Called Second Level Domains or SLD's
domain.co.uk
domain.co.nz

There are exceptions to this obviously. But this is the actual domain.
Anything in front of a domain is called a subdomain and is controlled by the domain owner.
For examples of subdomains
www.domain.com
webmail.domain.co.uk

This is a 2 part subdomain.
cgi. ebay. (then the main domain jlwd.co.uk )

After a domain name is any instructions to the server such as paths and parameters.
domain.com/path/to/file/filename.php
domain.com?yourname=joebloggs

Or the two combined
domain.com/path/to/file/filename.php?yourname=joebloggs

So if there is a really long URL look for the first instance of a / or a ? and that is the end of the domain name. work back.

So now if you are given a link you can check that the domain is actually pointing you where you think you should be going.
