Don't know if this is apocryphal or not but it's something a friend told me had happened to a friend of his.

The person concerned was finding getting insurance difficult as he got older so was recommended to go to a company which specialises in insuring people who participate in extreme sports.

Will you be sky diving? No
Will you be mountaineering? No
Will you be motor cycle racing? No
Etc, Etc

OK, you're low risk so your premium will be low as well.
