Hi Paulus there's a campsite in the town, stayed about 6 years ago, very handy for the town, beach, Parkadventurer and the station.

Yes we have, this is a superb site, nice stroll into Salou town and a very pretty port and promenade.

We love it and have been a few times, clean well set out, nice bar & Restaurant,, super swimming pool, clean showers etc etc. :thumb:

Don't know that place but Peniscola, just south, is a charming "Spanish" resort. There's an aire and campsites.

Yes we have, this is a superb site, nice stroll into Salou town and a very pretty port and promenade.

We love it and have been a few times, clean well set out, nice bar & Restaurant,, super swimming pool, clean showers etc etc. :thumb:

Last September we went to Salou and stayed in La Siesta

As already said a lovely site in the centre of Salou easy walk to beach and a good local bus service,
We took 2 days to go down and came back through Andora ( police and french customs stop most GB motorhomes and search every where know your allowances ) we stopped at aires in both directions and took 8 days to return. We would do it again tomorrow given half a chance.

There are many camp sites in that area to choose from.

Yes I'll second that about Peniscola..smashing place we had 8 weeks there a couple of years ago at Camping El Eden..bags of discounts for longer stays and a fabulous beach across from the site a five minute walk to the town market on a Monday...

Was in Salou 3 weeks ago,parked on the prom opposite the beachbar at Cambrils.
No problem as it was still early season.

Wow. We had one night ( or was it 2 ? ) on the aire opposite the mega hotel at the end of town but it was enough to see how "unspoiled" it was. The place was where a good Spanish family would got to be untroubled by non Spanish riff-raff.
