Hello funsters,Am at the moment staying on a good friends finca in Abanilla Murcia Spain. He has been building this place for the last 10 years and its almost complete. He has a 800 square meter elevated plot that he would like to turn into a small camping for a few people.
There is a pool plus a separate pool with bar and also a jacuzzi which would be available to campers. Unfortunately he does not have mains electric, but a generator is installed for his own use,and maybe you could charge batteries from this. Of course you are at liberty to use your own gennys.Am just testing the waters at the moment to see if there would be any interest at approximately 200 euros per month. Have taken a few photos to give you some idea of the location.

Hi SB,
I think, for what is being offered, that €200/month is pushing it. I'm on a site on the south coast of Spain, 300 m from the beach, with full amenities, 2 x pools, toilets, showers, restaurant, bar, shop etc, 100's of 200 m2, pitches at €240/mnth.

Hi and thanks for the reply, that's why I asked on fun.Neither I nor my friend have any idea what he could hope to charge. I have not paid campsites in Spain for a couple of years,so don't really know what they charge nowadays. Any further suggestions would be appreciated.
What would any funsters consider a fair price.

Sorry for the confusion funsters but this is not a campsite as such, but a good friend who is hoping to supplement his income with maybe 4 or 5 campers. The price is of course negotiable and the price will be the same all year round and not double in July and August like campsites in Spain.
Thanks for your interest and I will pass on your comments.
There is room for many more campers, but that is not what he is looking for.

To be perfectly honest, we stop in better surrounding in Spain, France and Portugal for nothing, we can even stay in Portimao for 1 euro per night. At 50 Euros a week it has no chance.

200 euro a month is not particularly competitive in the low season, however if he's charging this all year he could well be full in the mid/high season when most of the others start charging silly prices.

I would very much like to know, where one can get a pitch on a site in Spain, out of season, for e200 a month, or less.
