scraggy maggie

Salopian introduced me to this site and told me to use the name "scraggy maggie"... can't think why as I am not, scraggy that its, maybe craggy with age but it comes to us all.
George Valentine is my new love. He is 9ft tall, he likes his drink (around 25 mpg) and he has slept around abit but now he has found me we expect to be very happy together. He is 14 (I know, a bit young but there...), French, from Peugeot and he is a Boxer, but we don't fight much except when going through the gears (30 years of automatics doesn't help) and also when we are peddling hard up the hills ! I picked him up on Valentine's Day this year and in the driveway of the Caravan Centre was a fabulous big dragon metal sculpture, so I wanted to call him George and I am that beautiful Dragon, say no more... my friends all love him too but they can keep their hands off.
Had a caravan many years ago and this is my first escapade into campervans and I feel like I am going to love it. It's a little daunting for a retired lady on her own, especially as I really fancy "wild camping" I think you guys call it... you know, pitched by the sea, beautiful sunset, beautiful sunrise (I know, but you might get it somewhere....) just me and George and sizzling bacon butties and my porta-potti (well these things are important to most of us ladies).
Okay that's enough for now, hope to have fun on here and above all learn a load of stuff about how "it's" done...
