Hi Den2406dog

When are you thinking of going? Are you asking about 'high season' or 'off season'?

We are on a site in South of France

We have been to this site a couple of times now.. We have a Winnibago RV

Camping Massereau .. Part of the Castels group..run by some brothers .. Has it's own vineyard. This site is on the outskirts of Sommineries not far from Nimes. It is a 5 star site, part self hire chalets and motor home pitches mixed in... It has a serious swimming pool complex. euro amp and Key Camps are on the site.. Yet it is not nasty or brash... Has great facilities ... Look it up..

Not any pitches will take an RV ..although they are a fair size... We always book in November to get the pitch we want. Was ACIS last year, but they pulled out as they wanted to charge more.. Less campers here this year.. Big mistake I think. The site has 16 Amos power, water tree on pitches and also dump valves for black and grey tanks... Not ear the beach, but the water facilities and climbing/ assault course makes up for this, three water slides, separate adult heated pool and children and toddlers pool... Very clean site.

The town of Somminiers is 2 km away by cycle track (old rail bed covered in Tarmac... Runs to Sommineries and Nimes.. 22 km long. The town is medieval and lots of eating and shops in tiny roads.. Big local market on Saturdays to die for.. Big river through town.

I did an article for the disabled section of MMM last Novemver, shows lots of photos..

Recommended.
