strange you should say that Jim.....

if things had gone totally t/ts up last year and the kontiki had got repo'd i was going to use the hilux.

with the tailgate down and the canopy door up i could easily sleep in the back.
stick on the driveaway awning over the tailgate/conopy and i would have a day room.
water....containers
fridge....coolbox and ice packs...for a day or so anyway.
entertainment....tv off standalone battery.
power off small free standing solar panel.
cooking....cadac.
ablutions...public toilets/site amenities

i was always told 'dont let the buggers get you down'...and they wouldnt.

luckily it never got that bad :thumb:
