...go on.. have Fun... at the Newark meet...

...I am pounding the roads of Portugal, Spain and France...

Left at 5pm yesterday and am just north of Bayonne now... (900 kms)

Stopped overnight at a spacious "descanso" and had a peaceful night (had to have heater on though!)

Solar charger on the blink... think it needs re-setting...:Sad:

No news re LPG yet... moving too fast...:thumb:

PS... McDees do well out of this "free" wi-fi milarky... I just spent €12 on a quick snack (a Big Mac Menu with Coca Cola and a Bacon Burger with potato wedges plus a chocolate sundae for pudding

PPS. now going to race onwards to Bordeux to see if I can log on in time to do my Quiz Duty... if not Peter H has kindly offered to save the "day" again...

Pulled up just south of Poitiers (Ruffec) on the NI0 around midnight.

Of course the car and caravan section was empty when I arrived but when I crawled out of my freshly laundered pit this morning the place was heaving with French people having lunch.

Still the sun was blazing down and I fixed the highly technical problem with my solar charger (faulty earth wire connection) and set off north again.

Stopped to fill up my Gaslow bottle with gas and then pulled up at Poitiers' McDees to check emails etc,

Only bought an ice cream today (honest.)
