Air Suspension (1 Viewer)

I've been touring Europe for around six years in a Lunar van and have just acquired an 09 Lo line coachbuilt with air suspension. The ride and stability are serious improvements on the previous model but I don't know what pressure to run the system at. Got it set at 40 psi at the moment. Any advice or experience gratefully received:thumb:

The maximum is generally around 100 psi depending on type, you need to check that, but the setting that gives you what you consider the best ride is where you need to be.
I have air suspension on mine and the improvement in ride and reduction in body roll was well worth the investment :thumb:

I'll endorse what Larrynwin said, well worth the money. Mine was set at around 3 bar which seems fine, I'll leave you to do the conversion! :thumb:

Welcome to MH Fun

On one of our earlier vans we fitted air suspension to stop sway, from memory used to run at 40/45psi depending on load. I remember to start it was a case of trial and error, before settling on those figures.

Hi Jinx,

When we had a Lunar 780 coachbuilt, we also had air suspension fitted, as said it was trial and error to start, but found 50psi rear and 40 psi front gave the best stability and smoothist ride.

We did use the same road circuit to sort it, motorway/A road and b road, over about 20 miles, but well worth the effort.
