Power problem (1 Viewer)

New batteries on RV but no power to house, not even on hook up. only power when engine running. What's going off? Driving us nuts now!! Think might have something to do with a solenoid under the bonnet?? Clueless and desperate.

sounds like a switch problem, are you going to Newark, plenty of funsters to sort you out there Lisa

Hi, yes SHOULD be going to Newark!! Don't want to turn up without power tho and have to run engine annoying everyone! cant even start gennie at the moment :Sad:

check the battery isolator switch is on.. it should have a neon light when energised, if no light it looks like a fuse blown ..

If it is lit then it may be the solenoid .. but it's impossible to say without testing ..

oh don't worry about running the engine nobody will hear it if you park with the kippor gennie crue mind having said that nobody will see you either if you park with them
