Makro have an offer on this week until March 8th, on an Akura 18.5" LCD TV/DVD. Only £89.99 + VAT so £107.99...

We have the Akura 15.6" TV/DVD combi we bought from Makro last year, in the front of the dinette in the van, so the kids can watch dvd's whilst travelling. Also means they can still watch something whilst we watch the other TV in the back if its tipping down on a miserable day
It has Freeview and DVD. Our 15.6" has a USB port as well as HDMI socket and is 12V as well as 240V. Really sharp clear picture.
Not sure if this one also has the USB port but still not bad at this price and if it does have the USB and is 12V it's a great price....:thumb:

You must of got one with the kettle lead, take it back and ask to check which one has the 12v connection. The 12v ones have the step down box with a single pin imput to the tv and you can run them straight from a 12v connection in the van, whats more is that if you ring akura they will even supply you with the cig lighter connection, lead and correct fuse to do so.
