Often good things come to an end and the "free" wi-fi at the marina in Portimao has been stopped...

Now to use it people are being asked to pay...

nope. Sorry but someone somewhere has to pay for it, so though an excellent idea in it being offered it was obviously taken advantage of to excess by some or many possibly costing a lot more to the town than the amount those same visiting people put back into the local community.

No jj is on go as you go lave the bill for the ones that wont to pay if it if free use it when you carn get it and when it gos off time to move on

So when I go there and if I find an alternative station, do I tell everybody and ruin it for myself, or do I keep it to my self? answers please.

Perhaps the owners had a choice increase the site fees or start charging for wifi and if NOT every site member uses wifi then that has to be the fairest choice

You don't know the setup Mick, the wifi is coming from a nearby marina, the site is a separate entity.
