When I posted this I thought I would get all the comedians crawling out of the woodwork,

Haven't heard about making the dogs legs ache yet ?

It is quite expensive and you end up losing the dog for 6 months (quarantine) and then there are shipping costs (crates etc) jabs for this and that.

This is quite useful - you can avoid quarantine. You even class your dog as 'excess baggage':ROFLMAO:

I guess that would mean training your dog to stay still, be quiet and act like a bag!

Agh!

Flying a dog to the States:Doh:

We met a couple last year who'd done just that, http://thelovefamily.co.uk/ , really nice couple who took thier RV and dog to the States for a year.

One thing I do remember Chris saying was he'd flown back to France then driven back (or some such) into the UK as it substantially reduced cost.

Keep the G positive

If you do decide to fly your dog, please keep the G Force positive.

I suspect the P2 is actually an instructor, as the guy in the left hand seat appears to black / grey out with the G loading. From the shape of the rear window, before it’s obscured by the dog, I’d say it’s a Cessna 172, probably 1970’s / 80’s era.

I know a few people who fly with their dogs. Some even have ear defenders for the dogs.
