thats why we gave up on vets visits with our russell ! (no tear duct in left eye)

we now buy eye drops from a chemist.....1/4 of the price too. :thumb:

many 'animal' drugs are just human drugs relabelled.

as an aside....we were offered an op to reroute a saliver duct to her eye.
no way ! everytime she saw food her eyes would water.

Yes I am looking into that, it was £18 for 3 tubes.

At 3.5 gram tube I think they are way too expensive.

She did give me sorry sell me a prescrition for £8.50 for optimmune for dry eye which you can only get on prescription they cost £50 from her and £20 online so that will make a big difference to the ongoing cost of that, she was the one that suggested we buy online surprisingly::bigsmile:

Im with John. Tara had a bit of conjunctives and I need to the chemist and said I needed some drops for Nikki and within 3 days Tara was good again. You do have to be slightly careful with eyes though in case something gets stuck in the 3rd eyelid. Also used some of harleys skin cream on her and that cleared her up too.

Mind you nikki does say I treat her like a human ::bigsmile:
