Spring into a Funsters Summer at Newbury!

Brand New for 2011 will be the Castle Rock mini-beer festival which will have approximately 12 different beers available complete with tasting notes.

For all our dog-owners, a dog show will also take place on Saturday.

FOUR nights of entertainment have been planned for campers with a Link Removed on Saturday. Have a laugh with the UK's number one Peter Kay tribute act, Link Removed who will be supported on the night with comedy from Billy Pearce and Johnnie Casson with music from the Swinging Blue Jeans. Other acts on during the weekend include Alvin Stardust, The Ivy League, Completely Beatles, The Rubettes, Beardsmith, Tenerisimo, Nya King, Him & Him and Darren Busby.

Southern Show

Hi !!

I've just booked for the show - arriving on the Friday.

It'll be my first meet so am looking forward to finally meeting up with other funsters and joining in. Will be great to put faces to user names!! I've never been to a motorhome show before and am nervous that it may prove to be very expensive - I'm sure that I'll be very tempted to upgrade my motorhome! Please don't let me!!!!

Can anyone tell me what the ground conditions are like that we normaly park on at shows?
Is it as it says on the tin," Rally Field" grass field. Is there someone about who can pull you out if things get bad and then not ask you for £80 payment..

I got my paperwork from Warners yesterday.. nice and early for a change.

The grass area we had last year was a way up on the front of the road where the large and I mean large entertainment tent was.. it did run down hill from the road so I would think you will need ramps at the rear or if your face the otherway round then at the front. Me? being a twin wheel yank whould rather chock just the front so if it is down hill for me then it is ramped at the front with chocks in front and behind my rear wheels.

The ground was firm last year.. not to far from the enterance to the exhibition or the food court and the beer tent, but far away to not cause an issue noise wise.
