Brilliant, now all we have to do is get them to include if motorhomes are accepted. Would be particularly good for concerts/sporting events.

Yes looks very useful. I've added that to my favourites.

Mailed them to suggest info on space for motorhomes would be useful and may get them more response.

I did their survey and suggested motorhome parking should be shown.

I tried it-----worked well------thanks for the link---- I also asked about height, suitable for high-top motorhomes-------saved on favourites:thumb:

I wonder if there is a site for truck parks------any HGV drivers know of one??-----that could be really usefull when travelling with the trailer on ! !

The people who run the Parkopedia site contacted me back in April looking for a source of height information but they were really after a database they could import rather than the text format of the answers provided (quite properly) by local councils which my web site is based on.

Looking on the Parkopedia site today (Firefox on XP) I see that some of the car parks have height information but it is not clear where they get it from or how accurate it is. For instance for one car park in Middlesbrough the text says 6' 11", the street view image of the car park sign (also displayed on Middlesbrough Council's web site) shows 7' 0" and the text on the Middlesbrough Council web site says 2.1 metres. Not a great deal of difference I know but worth being cautious perhaps.
