Looking on the ACSI site, you can pick a country off the map, then a region.
It will then give a list of sites in that region.
In the tile block (campsite name) for each site, some have just the name, some also have CAT 1 and some have CAT 2.

What does this mean, I cant find an explanation on the site or in the FAQ's?

Simples.

CAT 1 is when they have the odd mouse round the kitchens.

CAT 2 is when the place is overrun with the things.

I *almost* took that picture near Almeria. I wasn't quick enough.

The female cat eith gave birth or carried her kittens up onto a "shade" tree next to our pitch. We witnessed their first very hesitant steps at coming down to ground level.

Everything worthwhile needs years of dedication and effort.

I started with The Good Show ( followed by Journey Into Space ) on Sunday afternoons and kept the effort up through pain and poverty, 16 years in a secure psychiatric unit, 4 years in a Tibetan monastery eating nothing but dung beetles and drinking gnats piss and finally achieved total bonkers on FUN.

What really pisses me off is I could have bypassed all the pain and just waited for FUN.

Paul,
Take no notice of the buggers they have been at their Ovaltine too early.
Stayed at both and as you would expect, 1 is more expensive than 2 and has more and better facilities. You pay €15/€13 in off season whatever.
By the way Zahora at the moment is P%^sing down.

just had a browse on the site, it looks as though it's only on Spanish sites .. or did you see it on some others ?

if that is the case I would guess that it's perhaps a Spanish grading
