Of late I have noticed my two (2) leisure batteries are not holding charge,, think they are knackered, been on for 6 years or so..

I did ask some time about batteries,, and have found a company that are doing 88ah for £74-95,, Thats with delivery and VAT & 3 year exchange warranty.. I thought the price was good..

I am not sure what size I have on amp wise, but these will fit in the battery holders,, We dont use the leisure batterys we use (EHU or Generator) and we have a large Solar panel..

Assuming my old batterys are a large capacity,, will it do any harm to put the 88ah on even if the originals are 110 or 120..?

Thanks.

don't rush into anything Mo, they may just need desulphating. I will shortly be running tests on a smart charger which claims to do just that. For the cost of one battery you may be able to save the pair of them. As soon as I start the test I will post the results.

Hi. Roger,, thanks for the offer.
I am pretty sure they are duff, even putting them on charge through the mains (Onboard charger) after a few days if it is not bright and sunny for the solar to do it`s bit, they go down..

\want to get every thing tip top, as we hope to be heading down soth in a few weeks after I get over my ailments,, and just in case we wild camp on the way down I`d like a bit in the battery`s.

Cheers. :thumb:
