I rely on my phone alarms for a few important things during the day, picking kids up etc. But they have been going off 1 hour late, it seems Steve Jobs agrees with me, we should not put the clocks back::bigsmile: Did a quick search and Apple has a bug in the operating system. Alarms are still on BST, no matter what time you set them for, they go off an hour late. Be aware if you need an Iphone alarm to alert you, I am sure they will fix it before 27th March 2011::bigsmile:

Have you tried this 'fix' Jim

The bug can be sent packing by simply deleting all alarms currently setup and then dropping in new ones. You'll need to remove all existing old alerts in order for the fix to work correctly. Other users around the world are being suitably forewarned of the possibility it may happen to them, with the USA being next on the list as their clocks get adjusted next week.

Stupidly I adjusted my super smart phone (Nokia E72) clock back one hour manually only to find that the phone adjusted it again automatically...

This meant that I got TWO extra hours in bed instead of one... no so stupid after all hey? :ROFLMAO:

Mine is a 3 but it has the latest operating system. I tried the "Fix" yesterday, deleting and making new alarms does not work. Just making them an hour early, till Apple fix it:Smile:

i've got a 3g and my alarms are also going off an hour late.

I deleted the alarms (wake up etc) this morning and will add new alarms tonight.

Also switched off and re-started phone and switch time to automatic in settings.

Fingers crossed that solves it.

But just in case my trusty bedside alarm is still doing it's job BUT I did have to MANUALLY adjust it for the time change...sometimes the old fashion stuffs has it's purpose (a bit like me ::bigsmile: )

I've just learned that it is only the ones in series, the repeating ones, mon, tue wed etc that are having the problem and that single one-off alarms are OK. Not tested it yet though

One off alarms should be OK.

It the recurring ones that are affected.

Strangely though both me and the mrs have 3s at the latest s/w and hers his fine, whilst mine is an hour late.

Surely it should be the other way around.

UPDATE:-

Having successfully woken to my iPhone alarm yesterday at 7.30, I edited it to only wake me only weekdays.

This morning it went off at 8.30

Glad my bedside alarm is still working!!

One off alarms are fine.If you want a reoccurring alarm, set it a hour earlier than you want it, until Apple release a bug fix update. :thumb:

Hi

Just to add more toilet duck to the muddy waters. I have an HTC Hero running Android 2.1 and it does the same thing all repeat alarms are an hour early.

Could this be part of a conspiricy theory between Google and Apple to make the world late:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
