Hi
I had a Safari Trek with the TD engine, after removing the hump, draw a route the belt takes on a piece of paper, the tensioner is spring loaded and I used a 1/2 inch drive T bar to spring the tensioner, feel around the tensioner and you will find a square hole to stick it in, you'll probably need three hands

l did the same as you in the end, as the belt streches it rubs on the bottom altonator bolt which then causes it to wear quicker

Paul have you thought to p ost the question on the sister site RVOC as it is all RV's on there and I am sure you may get some extra ideas to help you with this question?

I tend these days to first look on the RVOC site and if I have time I come on to MHF site...
