I poured a glass of wine into the inbuilt battery charger, as you do.

I don't know whether it was the particular grape or just the vintage but the charger didn't like it.

I've bodged a repair, for the present, as we are away for the week, but the strange thing is, the fridge won't work on 230V now, without a 12V supply connected.

Can anyone tell me why?

Since 2005
the fridge needs 12v for the built-in control unit whether on gas or 230v.

what was going through your mind to make you do that ?:ROFLMAO:
